DANNERS LOG CABINS STANLEY, IDAHO 208 774 3539
The History of Danners Log Cabins
1824 was the year that fur trappers began to discover the Stanley-Sawtooth Valley but it was gold mining that eventually established the town. Currently, Stanley has a population of a few hundred year round residents which booms in the summer months due to it's endless recreational activities. The little town with an old west feel is surrounded by three stunning mountain ranges offering some of the best outdoor activity one could imagine. The headwaters of the Salmon River creeps out of the Stanley basin making the town of Stanley a popular rendezvous spot for white water rafting trips, kayaking, a few exciting steelhead runs and plenty of flyfishing.
Danner's houses one of the first Idaho ranger stations built in 1908 and moved onto the property in 1935 so that the family living in it could be closer to town. Come stay with us. Explore the history and take advantage of one of the most beautiful places in the country!
